2009 Schedule
Friday - there is a
scheduled Bonfire with meet and greet held
at McGrath's Motel - Route 145 in East
Durham. At the meet greet, each family
will be given discount coupons to area
attractions. There will be music, food and
drink. There will be activities for the
kids as well. This will start @6:00PM until
???.
Saturday- Parade kicks
off at 11:00 am until roughly 2PM.
Following the parade we are lining up
activities for the entire family. There
will be something for everyone. We are
trying to secure a location to hold it as of
right now. We will be coordinating a type
of field day event.
Please note there will
be a East Durham Reunion Float in the
parade. Should be a fun event. Last year,
the parade had over 40 units of marches. We
are hoping this number grows in size, if
anyone would like to enter a float or unit
of marchers, they only have to fill out an
application there is no charge.
Saturday night - The
Fireworks Show - provided by the East Durham
Task Force
Sunday - Mass said
for the intentions of all people that have
passed away that had ties to East Durham.
We are still in the planning stages as well.
